Things that trip people up

• Fees are charged on the gas limit, not gas used. Let your tooling estimate tightly instead of padding the limit by 50 percent.
• Contracts can be up to 128 KB, so a contract that failed Ethereum's 24 KB limit deploys fine here.
• Blocks are 300 ms. If your script waits for a fixed number of confirmations, it will feel instant; if it polls every 12 seconds out of Ethereum habit, it will feel slow for no reason.
