What is Dependency graph?

A dependency graph is a diagram of which contract functions depend on the same storage, showing which calls must run in sequence and which can run in parallel.

Nodes are functions or storage variables; edges are reads and writes. A function that only touches its caller's balance is independent of every other user's calls, while a function that updates a global counter creates an edge to every other function that touches that counter.
