What is Upgradeable contract (proxy)?
An upgradeable contract uses a proxy that delegates calls to a separate implementation contract, so the logic can be replaced while the address and storage stay the same.
Proxies add power and risk in equal measure: storage layout must be preserved across versions and upgrade authority must be tightly controlled. Monad's 128 KB code limit reduces one common reason for splitting logic across proxies.
