What is Gas price?

The gas price is the amount of native token a transaction pays per unit of gas, usually quoted in gwei (one billionth of a token).

Since EIP-1559, EVM chains express the price as a base fee set by the protocol plus a priority tip to the block producer. When demand rises the base fee rises. Monad's high throughput keeps its base fee low even under load, which is a large part of why deploying and calling contracts there is cheap.
