What is Revert?
A revert is when a transaction fails a check and the EVM undoes every state change it made, while still charging for the gas consumed up to that point.
Explicit require and revert statements, custom errors, and out-of-gas all cause reverts. On a parallel EVM a revert is still a valid outcome that is committed in order.
