What is Bytecode?
Bytecode is the compiled, machine-level form of a smart contract that the EVM actually executes; Solidity source is compiled into it before deployment.
There are two kinds. Creation (init) bytecode runs once during deployment and returns the runtime bytecode, which is what lives at the contract address afterwards. Monad allows runtime bytecode up to 128 KB and init code up to 256 KB, far above Ethereum's 24 KB limit, which removes a whole class of contract-splitting workarounds.
