What is Solidity?
Solidity is the most widely used programming language for writing smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains, including Monad.
Solidity is statically typed, contract-oriented, and compiles to EVM bytecode. It supports inheritance, libraries, user-defined types, events, and modifiers. Because Monad is EVM bytecode compatible, Solidity contracts written for Ethereum deploy on Monad without changes.
