Solidity online compiler: compile and deploy smart contracts in your browser with no setup
Compile Solidity online in seconds. Monsmith is a browser Solidity compiler and IDE with OpenZeppelin imports, inline errors, ABI and bytecode output, AI auditing, and one-click deployment to Monad.
You do not need Node.js, solc, or a package manager to compile Solidity. A browser compiler runs the real Solidity compiler as WebAssembly or on a server and hands back the same ABI and bytecode a local toolchain would.
Compile Solidity online in three steps
- Open monsmith.com/studio.
- Paste your contract.
import "@openzeppelin/contracts/..."works without installing anything. - Press Compile. Errors appear inline; on success you get ABI, bytecode, and a deploy form.
What Monsmith's compiler supports
- Solidity 0.8.x with the optimizer on (200 runs by default).
- Multi-file projects and OpenZeppelin resolution.
- Detailed error and warning messages with the offending line highlighted.
- ABI and bytecode you can copy, plus contract size against Monad's 128 KB limit.
Beyond compiling
Compiling is the easy part. What most online compilers do not do is tell you whether the contract is safe or what it costs. Monsmith runs a security audit, a parallel execution profiler for Monad, and Chain Fit, which executes your contract and prices it across EVM chains with live gas data. All of that is in the same tab, no account needed.
When to move to a local toolchain
When you need a test suite, CI, deployment scripts across many networks, or fork testing against mainnet state, Hardhat or Foundry is the right tool. The browser compiler remains the fastest way to try an idea, teach, or check a single contract.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a free Solidity compiler online?
- Yes. Monsmith at monsmith.com compiles Solidity in the browser for free with no account. Remix is another free option.
- Can I use OpenZeppelin in an online compiler?
- In Monsmith, yes. OpenZeppelin imports resolve automatically without a package install.
- Can I deploy from an online compiler?
- Yes. Connect a browser wallet such as MetaMask and Monsmith deploys to Monad testnet in one click.
